Meet The Team
Founder & Director
Julian started Orchards in 2002 with his father, working out of an office in Barton-le-Clay, shortly before opening our flagship Ampthill office in the heart of the centre.
Julian started in estate agency aged just 15 years old, having to take buses to his viewings and sometimes earning just enough to cover the bus fares for the week.
Away from the office Julian has three young boys who he enjoys sailing with as often as possible.
Sandra has a varied background dealing with all aspects of customer service and administration, with her first foray in to the industry being in managing tenancy deposits and offering more cost effective insurance like alternatives.
Day to day Sandra manages contract renewals along with processing deposit returns and the handling of rent and contractor payments.
You would catch Sandra outside of work enjoying the world of blues and rock with the likes of Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart and more recently spending her free time enjoying travelling around using her new favourite mode of transport - The Motorbike.
Director - Sales & Lettings
Adam joined Orchards 10 years ago as a sales negotiator having spent his previous years working in marketing and design.
Having lived in Flitwick and Ampthill for over 28 years, his local knowledge paved the way for him to quickly set himself as the ‘go to guy’ for honest local advice.
When not in the office, Adam and his fiancee Becky, love to eat out and work on their 1966 triumph herald named ‘Hattie’. Not to mention playing with their beloved cats Logan & Charles.
Senior Sales Associate
Alex first job was on a market stall, learning how to build quick rapport from cold starts with potential customers. This experience has helped Alex to develop outstanding customer facing skills, and could quiet honestly sell ice to Eskimos.
Prior to moving to the area Alex lived in St Neots and worked for a market leading agent, honing his skills and learning the craft.
If you think he looks familiar, then perhaps you are an avid bowls fan. With Alex representing the UK multiple times all over the world.
When not selling houses, Alex can be found either out on the golf course, or asleep in front of the fire.
Harry’s background of customer service, working in large corporate companies helped him quickly establish himself as someone who is cool under pressure and able to keep open lines of dialogue at all times; except for his strange OCD where he has specific times of the day when he must drink a glass of water, Harry is easily contactable, and always unflappable.
In his spare time, Harry is an avid football fan and loves to watch local teams especially the mighty Luton town. Although his love of the game hasn’t helped him in our office fantasy league where he constantly finds mid table.
With a background in both customer facing rolls and admin Elaine found property management the perfect balance of the both. Managing to keep a keen eye on her customer service and administration alike.
Starting her dive in to the lettings industry in the 90’s Elaine’s knowledge of both practical and personal aspects of rentals is helped by being a landlady herself.
When not dealing with maintenance and property inspections Elaine’s can be found swimming, running or cycling around box end park preparing for one of her many triathlons.
Gemma is an Ampthill local and can speak directly from the heart when it comes to the local schools, amenities and transport links.
When not busy progressing sales or managing our concierge services Gemma is a busy mum looking after two boys, and loves nothing better than cheering from the sidelines a their local football matches
Tommy is our newest member of our team, but don’t let that combined with his youthful good looks fool you, Tommy is 87 years young (in dog years).
Its true that age is but a number as Tommy has no fear in getting stuck in during meetings, and get very exited about the prospect of going out on viewings.
In the office you will often find Tommy loitering around the kitchen at lunch time waiting to find out what he will be treated to today.
